                          the music strike  up,  aud  would  insist upon the bishup a dancing
                          i*  hornpipe  in  his  boots,  aud the  bishop was  forced  to submit.
                          The  day  was  now far spent, and the bishop  beeped  leave to to
                          away.    a You  have  treated  me  very  nobly/’  said  he to  Rubin

                          settle  it  for yon."  He  then spread  the  bishop s cloak  upon  the
                          ground,  and  opining  hia  big  he counted  five  hundred  pounds
                          out  of it.  ** Now/'  said  Robin  Hood,  l( we  thank  you forvour
                          company j  and*  lo show you that we know  fiow  to  be  polite, we
                          will see you  part of the  way  home.”  They  then led  the  bishop
                         aud his  servants  quite ihrough  the  wood,  till they brought  him
                          to the high road : then Robin Hoods gang gave three cheera, and
