Tips
As your child makes the transition from 8th to 9th grade, it is important to give them the best possible support you can as a parent. Encourage your child to start visiting colleges and making a list of schools they would like to attend as soon as possible. The sooner they begin, they less stress they will have to deal with as senior year gets closer and closer. It is also a good idea for them to take the SAT test early. They can take the test multiple times and they get to choose which score to send to colleges. Finally, always go out of your way to be involved in your child’s schooling. Educating yourself on the college process at this early stage will do wonders for your child’s experience down the road. we here at
