When Sher founded Benefits Advisory Service, she took on numerous consulting
projects, offering clients a unique advantage with her invaluable expertise having
worked from all perspectives in the health care arena. In 2017, Benefits Advisory
Service joined the OneGroup team of insurance, risk management, employee
benefit and human resources specialists in order to offer her clients expanded
resources and to better advocate on their behalf.
Sher has been an active in the health care community with local and national
participation in the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), as an acting
board member in the Queens Chamber of Commerce and OASAS Compensation
Committee, and by attending critical meetings in Albany and Washington, D.C.
She is also a firm believer in community service involvement and as such serves
on numerous boards and continues to serve the Samaritan Foundation, and the
Rego Park/Forest Hills Lions Club to name a few.
