Function and Responsibilities
The Perry Company will oversee all aspects of design, including cost control, during all phases of the project. It is the Perry Company’s responsibility to insure that the Tax Collectors office gets the building they want, within the budget and time constraints provided.
Edge Architecture is responsible for the creative design aspects, as well as developing the programming data necessary for a complete design. Edge will produce all of the Architectural Construction Documents, as well as the coordination all of the engineers.
Richard Adams Engineers is responsible for the structural design of the facility, with an eye towards increasing hurricane resistance in as cost effective manner as possible.
Wilson Girgenti Engineers is responsible for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design, taking into account the very unique circumstances under which this building will operate. Wilson Girgenti will design a system that will maximize cost effectiveness while still providing the highest practical operating efficiencies. Cypress Gulf Development is responsible for the site/civil construction, taking into consideration the existing site conditions and the future project requirements.
NO ASPECT OF THE DESIGN WILL BE FARMED OUT TO A SUB-CONSULTANT. THE ARCHITECT AND ENGINEERS LISTED ABOVE WILL HANDLE ALL DESIGN ASPECTS.
