A. SHORT MESSAGE
A brief message to convey something to others that the person is doing or not
doing something

(pesan yang dibuat secara singkat untuk menyampaikan sesuatu kepada
orang lain agar orang tersebut melakukan atau tidak melakukan sesuatu).

Ada 2 macam short message, yaitu :
1. Memo ( written short message )
2. Short message service (sms)
Contoh
 Pesan singkat minta jemput
Dad, Pick me up at 3 p.m. I have an OSIS meeting after school.

Deasy

 Pesan singkat memberitahukan sesuatu
Dear Donie, I‟ve prepared some food for breakfast. I put it on the
refrigerator. Sorry, I have to go to work very early.

Mom
 Pesan singkat memesan sesuatu
Dear Mrs. Jessica, I need your help. Please deliver some tart cakes for
birthday party. I‟m waiting the cake before 10 a.m. tomorrow morning.

 Pesan singkat mengingatkan orang
Jennie, Don‟t forget to bring the book. It‟s on the table.

 Pesan singkat mengembalikan benda yang dipinjam
