Welcome to the 2019 Missions Marketplace
at Skidaway Island united Methodist Church

his pamphlet is your guide to our Missions Marketplace,
Twhere you will be able to celebrate the true meaning of giving
and enjoy a unique shopping experience. It provides:

• A brief statement about each of the mission
agencies that are participating in the market,
• A shopping list of “virtual gifts” that you may
wish to purchase to support these agencies in
honor of family members and friends, and
• A separate check-out form.

Use this pamphlet in the same way you would use a catalogue
from your favorite store. Preview the description of agencies
and gifts and make your preliminary selections. At the Missions
Marketplace, speak with representatives of participating local
agencies to learn more about how these agencies serve people
with special needs in our community.

Summarize your purchases on the enclosed check-out form. This
form makes it easy for you to purchase all gifts with a single cash
payment or check (payable to Skidaway Island United Methodist
Church) and makes it easy for the church to direct 100% of your
donation to the agencies that you wish to support. All donations
are tax deductible, and you will receive a letter of thanks from
the church acknowledging your donation.

Once you have made your purchases, have them “gift wrapped”
and enjoy fellowship and refreshments with other shoppers and
volunteers.

If you are unable to attend the Missions Marketplace but would
like to participate, you can do so by returning your check-out
form and check to the church’s office by Monday, December 9,
2019.
