            METHOD 551 - CHLORINATED DISINFECTION
Method 551 is applicable for the determination of chlorination disinfection by-products and chlorinated solvents in drinking water, during in-
termediate treatment stages, raw source water, and finished drinking water by liquid-liquid extraction and gas chromatography with electron-
         capture detection.
Method 551.1 is applicable for the determination of chlorination disinfection by-products, chlorinated solvents and halogenated pesticides/
herbicides in drinking water during intermediate stages of treatment, raw source water, and finished drinking water by liquid-liquid extraction
and gas chromatography with electron-capture detection.
