Therefore, parents are asked each year to complete an emergency care consent form.
Parents should keep emergency care information up-to-date (name of doctor, emergency

School Facilities
Use by Students Before and After School
Certain areas of the school will be accessible to students before and after school for specific
purposes. Students are required to remain in the area where their activity is scheduled to
take place.
Unless the teacher or sponsor overseeing the activity gives permission, a student will not
be permitted to go to another area of the building or campus.
After dismissal of school in the afternoon, and unless involved in an activity under the
supervision of a teacher, students must leave campus immediately.
Conduct Before and After School
Teachers and administrators have full authority over student conduct at before or after-
school activities on district premises and at school-sponsored events off district premises,
such as play rehearsal, club meetings, athletic practice, and special study groups or
tutorials. Students are subject to the same rules of conduct that apply during the
instructional day and will be subject to consequences established by the Student Code of
Conduct or any stricter code of conduct established by the sponsor in accordance with
board policy.
Loitering or standing in the halls between classes is not permitted. During class time, a
student must have a hall pass to be outside the classroom for any purpose. Failure to
obtain a pass will result in disciplinary action.
Lost And Found
Middle School Offices provide a lost and found service. Students finding articles should
bring them to the assistant principals or principal secretary. Students losing articles
should report their loss to security. Articles of clothing, etc. not claimed within a
reasonable period (6 weeks) will be given to a charitable organization.
School Phones
Office phones are for school business only. Students will not be permitted to use the office
phones unless authorized by school personnel. In such case, students are to use the
designated office school phones for personal calls only when classes are not in session.
Students will not be excused from the classroom to use the school phone. Student calls
must be limited to no more than 2 minutes.
