In September 2015, 193 members states of the United Nations unanimously adopted a set of 17 Goals as part
of a “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. The Goals and targets will
stimulate action over the coming 15 years to end poverty, achieve equality and protect our planet from
             climate change.

Goal 16 is arguably the most important goal, being one which supports all the other Goals in their
sustainability by keeping peace and stability in the society.

Peace is not only ending wars and reduction of con icts among countries. In addition to the major target of
reducing violence, SDG 16 also concerned about the potential causes of violence and crimes, including
corruption and bribery, fundamental freedoms, non-discriminatory policies, and easy access to information
             and transparent government institutions.
