    THE MASSACHUSETTS AUDUBON SOCIETY WILDLIFE SANCTUARY (A1)
in Eastham and Well eet has  ve unique walk- ing trails, all starting at their Nature Center and crossing through forests, meadows and marshes, including a boardwalk out to Cape Cod Bay.
SOUTH EASTHAM CONSERVATION AREA (SECA) & UPPER BOAT MEADOW (J3) SECA is home to a rich variety of habitats surrounding three small ponds and some unusual tree species. Park at the trailhead on Peach Orchard Lane. Upper Boat Meadow, abuttingSECA and the RailTrail, has magni cent walking trails through woodland, marsh and an arboretum of specimen trees. Parking and access are available at the trailhead on Smith Lane as well as the Rail Trail on Rock Harbor Road and at Peach Orchard Lane.
HIKING TRAILS
FORT HILL TRAIL (H5)
is a one and one-half mile trail with some log steps on slopes. The trail runs through the Rural Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This walking trail offers spectacular views of Nauset Marsh, the Nauset Spit and the Atlantic Ocean. Bring your binoculars for some wonderful birding oppor tunities.
DOANE TRAIL (E6)
is a one-half mile, paved, wheelchair accessible, loop trail, winding through pine and oak forest, with views of Nauset Marsh. Picnic
area. Park at Doane Rock
RED MAPLE SWAMP TRAIL (H5)
with its serpentine boardwalk gives yet an- other dimension to Cape Cod that is totally unexpected compared to the Outer Cape’s general landscape. This quarter mile walk is most colorful in the fall.A portion of this trail is wheelchair accessible via Hemenway Landing.
NAUSET MARSH TRAIL (F5)
is a half-mile loop that skirts Salt Pond and Nau- set Marsh and returns through transitional forest and  elds. The area is well suited for studies of salt marsh ecosystems and upland succession. It also offers excellent bird watching opportunities.
