Throughout the months leading up to flying out to LA for Glam Masters, I had to rewire and tap into my subconscious mind. I had to change my identity to step into my power and toss that shy, scared, and self- conscious girl OUT THE WINDOW.
After I changed my mindset and stepped into this new power, I was able to attract insane opportunities including assisting celebrity makeup artist Alexx Mayo for major events; working on Lizzo's team for the Grammys, SNL, the AMA's & the VMA's. I personally did the makeup on all of Lizzo's dancers for the Grammys in 2020. I also became Burberry Beauty's Canadian Makeup Ambassador, travelling all over Canada teaching makeup classes. And eventually I launched my very own Makeup Academy.
I realized quickly that you succeed in life by collaborating, helping others and being a kind person. From my personal experience, I've seen that it can be hard to undercover all of the 'behind the sense' information on actually running your business though, RIGHT?
That's why I decided to create this Makeup Manual for boss babes that are looking to level up without breaking the bank! I'm going to show you how to unlock your greatness, and create a powerful career in the makeup industry.
I hope this manual will help give you the perfect kick-start into the beauty industry. It is such a fantastic community of creative, passionate, and expressive artists.
I will always be here to mentor you and answer any questions that you might have down the road. Nothing would bring me greater joy than seeing you BLOOM and reach your fullest potential as an artist, influencer, and person.
