WIL 3 REFLECTION

During my final school experience, I have learnt more as I had more time in the classroom than any year
of my studies. The school that I went to was exceptionally managed and the teachers were always

supportive. One of the first important thing that I have learnt was that the school must have a good
leadership structure. This will instill order in the operations of the school. Learners and teachers need to

have a good leader that will delegate responsibilities and expectations. The leadership always had high

expectations from the learners and teachers, and I have learnt that this is a good motivation for both as
they always have something to work towards on. My mentor teachers always had an ongoing assessment

evaluation which always kept learners to work towards something and they rewarded learners hard work

all the time. I have also realized that learning and teaching should be organized at all the times in terns of
lesson plans, assessments and targets.
