Dear Friends,
Like everyone, we experienced a year unlike any other in 2020 but
we know that experiences can be our greatest teacher. Our staff,
volunteers and board members put into practice what we teach by
preparing ourselves for whatever was coming next and managing
the things that were in our control.

First Tee - Canton has spent nearly 20 years building experiences
that build character to empower kids through a lifetime of new
challenges and continuous personal growth. Teaching kids to be
resilient is so important with our ever-changing world that we live in.

2020 was a year that created a lot of changes and opportunities. In
the spring, we had to cancel programs for the first time but with that
time we created a plan to offer safe and healthy programs for the
summer and fall.

Many adults have struggled with their lives turning upside down
but the pandemic really affected the kids in our community. Kids
need to be in positive, social environments but also feel safe doing
so. We knew that we had to do everything possible to have the kids
safely at our facility and to be active and have fun while being here.

Thanks to the support of our board, volunteers and donors we were
still able to provide a resource to the families in our community.
