The thinking behind MagiKats
Children, who want help with their school work, want that help NOW.
They want topics being covered at school to be more accessible immediately. At the same time they are likely to have gaps in core skills that need to be lled. This is why we work on the two strands simultaneously – to give an immediate boost underpinned by steady consolidation.
MagiKats students attend a weekly workshop, arriving at a pre-arranged time. They usually take home ve short core work assignments, allowing them one day off each week.
Continuity is, of course, important if good progress is to be achieved so we advise that the impetus is maintained all year round.
During the family holiday, for example,
we advise students to request
special study packs to work through whenever they can and wherever they nd themselves.
