Team Dysfunction During Retrospective
Scene 1
The Scrum Master of the team is facilitating a Team Retrospective. The team is
gathered together to discuss the results of the Iteration.
SCRUM MASTER: It looks like we are unable to achieve the Iteration's goals. What
happened?
TEAM: Well, a lot of time we spent on unplanned work dealing with defects from
previous Iterations.
JOHN THE DEVELOPER: I can fix all of the defects myself! Just let me work on my
own and stay out of my way!
