Lesson 20

               PC Hardware

I have a desktop PC. It has been
rigged primarily as a game machine. It

                                                              has a 21-inch LCD monitor I got from a
throwaway sale. It runs on a dual

boot system, a Windows 2000 on drive
C for Internet surfing and Windows XP on

drive D for games. It has got a Pentium

4, 3.2 megahertz CPU, an Asus mother-
board, 60 gigabyte hard disk drive (big
enough to contain the 10 games I installed), graphic card GeForce FX 5200

128 Megabytes DDR Ram, a 32 bit sound card, and two 256 DDR memory

               sticks.

I love to over clock my PC, push it to its smoking limits. For this purpose, I
installed three system fans and the latest CPU cooler for my steaming CPU. Of

course, for a total gaming experience, I hooked up a cool set of speaker, (6
satellites and one humungous subwoofer that goes boom-boom-boom and

               threatens to collapse the ceiling).
