Thoughts for

         Incorporating the

         Cultural Beliefs in

         Our Work







         Culture drives performance. With that in mind, our
         beliefs need to be integrated into every employee-
         related process. This includes everything from
         strategic planning and goal setting to feedback
         mechanisms. From the first interview to the last
         day of work, every person should be constantly
         reminded, and help to remind others, that the
         cultural beliefs form the basis for every decision the
         company makes.

         Make storytelling part of every meeting. If we get
         used to sharing stories that illustrate the cultural
         beliefs, they will inspire new behaviors, and even new
         habits, across the organization.

         Physical environments must support, promote and
         create the conditions for the cultural beliefs to be
         in action everywhere and in every interaction. Think
         about how you can make stories and ideas visible.

         Our culture consists of the beliefs, values, and
         behaviors that guide interactions between all people,
         old and new. It is important to make sure experiences
         from entry level employees to leadership positions
         build off of the foundation of the cultural beliefs.
