APPENDIX T
ARBITRATION

Appendix T can be found in the World Sailing Racing Rules of
Sailing which can be downloaded from sailing.org/racingrules/
documents

The appendix applies only if the notice of race or sailing
instructions so state.
The appendix should be used in accordance with the guidance
on arbitration that can be found in the World Sailing International
Judges Manual, which can be downloaded from the World
Sailing website.

An alternative is the RYA Rules Disputes Procedures which
have been used throughout the UK for over a decade
and may be more useful at events at or below National
Championship level. The procedures can be found at
rya.org.uk/racingrules or at rya.org.uk/go/rulesdisputes.
The procedures include the simple notice of race sentence which
is necessary to implement RYA Arbitration.
