3.10 Slaughter and surgical
3.10.1 Euthanasia of pedigreed animals without the consent of Hollard is excluded except in the case of fractured bones necessitating immediate slaughter in the interest of humanity;
3.10.2 destruction of pedigreed animals in compliance with statutory requirements or any order of a Government or Local Authority;
3.10.3 surgical operation unless written consent had been given by Hollard.
3.11 Cancellation
When cover is cancelled by the Insured the unexpired portion of premium will be calculated in terms of the short-period scale below:
