WHAT IS ISSAP?

ISSAP stands for Internship and Study Semester in
Asia Pacific, a unique program that takes advantage of
our partner, Global Academic Venture’s network of
internships and academic partnerships in Australia,
New Zealand and Asia by allowing students to visit
multiple locations during a single semester, for both
academic study with faculty from local universities
teaching specialized courses, and for internships,
allowing students to match their interests to the
location with the best offerings in each field.

COURSES

Each student on the ISSAP Program completes 2 or 3
academic courses as well as 6 credits of INTR
internship credit through CORE. The program structure
includes the following components:

• 1 Three-Week intensive course offered in Auckland
• 1-2 Four-week intensive courses offered in Sydney
• An 8-week full-time internship in your major field in
either Auckland, Sydney, Hong Kong or Singapore.

• Courses offered typically deal with the Economics
and Business Climate of Asia Pacific, but other
offerings may be available for students seeking
