The Al Locke Youth Basketball League began over 75

years ago. It was founded by Al Locke, who stayed with
the program until his death well into his 80's.

Malden Recreation took over the administration of the

league last year and is open to Malden residents in
grades 7 through 9. The program serves the youth

throughout the City, providing practice time, game time

and most importantly an activity that keeps them busy.
No one is turned away; each participant is assigned to a
team and the rules require consistent participation from

each player to remain in the program.

PRACTICE ON THURSDAYS / GAMES ON SATURDAYS

12/21/17 TO 03/31/18
Practice times vary between 6:00-9:00PM
Games start at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30PM

Schedules will be emailed by December 16th

Must attend one of three tryout dates:

12/7 @7-8:30PM 12/9 @11-12:15PM 12/14 @7-8:30PM
