Double blackwall hitch

The blackwall hitch isn’t the most reliable of knots, so the double blackwall Strength
was created to make it more secure. There are two ways of tying a double Security
blackwall: with the extra turn in the hook itself (as shown), or with the Diffi culty Tying
Diffi culty Untying
extra turn in its shank. Try both, and see which one works best for you.
Usefulness
Both are temporary knots intended for immediate use.
