 1. ONLINE AND OFFLINE MARKETING
Many families engage with MDS as a result of referrals by family, friends and trusted authorities in the community. There is an opportunity for MDS to increase its pipeline if it engages and promotes to the right audience (either directly to families or to authorities who can then refer families on) through the right online and offline channels. MDS also needs to increase its visibility in order to attract new customers, especially as currently MDS has capacity to take on more participants.
1. HOLD INFORMATION SESSIONS TO PROMOTE MDS
Hold casual information session to promote MDS to interested parties or parties who can influence families’ decision making, such as community centre staff, parole officers, support workers, school staff, doctors and other service providers.
2. SHARE PARTICIPANT AND FAMILY STORIES
Lived experience stories are a very powerful tool – MDS can use its network of alumni and current participants and their families to promote MDS in a way that resonates with people. MDS can do this by sharing and celebrating success stories and case studies (film/print) of participants and families. These can be promoted through various channels such as events, flyers. EDM’s, Website, social media etc.
3. OPTIMISE THE MDS WEBSITE
Ensure MDS' website and the content is SEO optimised to increase the appeal and searchability of the MDS website. This will drive traffic, increase awareness of the MDS brand and therefore increase the pipeline of participants.
