MDS is currently working on setting up a weekend respite program but have encountered some initial problems regarding program uptake and the funding model. The Strategy Group can help MDS develop a new business model to ensure a successful respite initiative that has the possibility to generate additional income.
NEXT STEPS
• Identify and design key features of the business mode canvas from a viability and feasibility perspective.
• Develop a timeline and costing for the initiatives to ensure they are time and cost effective.
• Review information to build and integrate the business models with past or existing initiatives at MDS.

A new MDS business model to ensure a successful and profitable weekend respite program.

ENGAGEMENT
HOW WE CAN HELP
There is opportunity for MDS to enhance their current social engagement with their participants and their family members. The Strategy group can help MDS to increase and strengthen their community through deeper online and offline communications. This will enhance MDS’ reach, engagement and retention of their existing and new customers.
NEXT STEPS
• Combine elements from the ‘social engagement’, ‘masterclass series’ and ‘NDIS community platform’ to increase the online and offline community social engagement.
• Ideate and determine the various aspects of the platform that will benefit MDS customers.
• Identify and recommend suitable existing resources and back- end developers for MDS.

A comprehensive execution and implementation plan to enhance community social engagement.
