Aidlink is a small charity with a big impact. There are three full-time staff in our headquarters in Dublin, with oversight from Aidlink’s Board of Directors.
Our work is guided by and strictly adheres to best-practice codes and policies. They shape our organisation, ensuring that we stay true to our values and remain accountable to our donors, supporters and the communities we serve. The Board of Directors of Aidlink
is proud to apply and comply with the Charities Regulator Code of Good Governance.
Aidlink’s commitment to a high standards of good governance, accountability and transparency have been recognized by Chartered Accountants Ireland Leinster Society’s Published Accounts Awards (2017, 2018 & 2019) and the Carmichael Centre’s Good Governance Awards in 2017 and 2018.
Aidlink’s Board of Directors
Aidlink’s Board is committed to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance and ensuring Aidlink successfully delivers its mission, setting its strategic direction and upholding its core values through leadership and financial oversight.
In late 2020 allegations of fraud were raised against one partner in Uganda. No Aidlink funds or projects were impacted. The
Board of Aidlink initiated an investigation and supported the formal investigation of the partners other donors. Aidlink worked together with the partners other donors and supported the remedial actions taken by the partner. The board of Aidlink are satisfied to continue working with the partner and have updated Aidlink’s anti-fraud policy.
