The Directors present their annual report and the audited financial statements of Aidlink for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. This report presents the information and disclosures required by a Directors’ Report under the Companies Act 2014, together
with additional information required by the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective January 1, 2015).

    Aidlink is a company limited by guarantee, not having a share capital, incorporated in Ireland in 1982 under the Companies Act and registered in Ireland with registration No. 124133. Every member of Aidlink undertakes, if necessary, on a winding up during the time they are
a member or within one year after they cease to be a member, to contribute to the assets of Aidlink an amount not exceeding €1.00. Aidlink’s governing document is its Constitution as amended by special resolution on April 19, 2021.
Under the provision of Section 1180 of the Companies Act, 2014, Aidlink is exempt from including ‘company limited by guarantee’ in its name.
Aidlink is a charity registered with the Charities Regulatory Authority, registered charity No: 20022730, and has been granted tax exemption by the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland, registered charitable taxation No: CHY 9078.
