RESULTS
Net income/(deficit) for the financial year

Net income for the financial year was €14,405 (2020: €29,001).
Total 2021 income of €650,176 is
up €41,452 on 2020. Aidlink was successful in an application to Irish Aid’s Civil Society Fund in respect
of our ‘Every Girl In School’ project (2021-2024). An amount of €380,000 per annum has been approved for three years, this is a €70,000 per annum increase on Aidlink’s Kenya Inclusive Quality Education Project (2018-2021).
Aidlink drew down year one of
Irish Aid’s Civil Society Fund. The conditions of this contract mandate that the funding be allocated to
the Every Girl In School project
in Kajiado and Turkana counties, Kenya. This programme was delivered in conjunction with our long-term partner, The Girl Child Network.
Income from Foundations Trusts and Corporate Groups (FTC) increased slightly at €156,044 (2020: €148,447).
