Surface: I found this top to an old picnic basket. It worked well for the design. You may need
to enlarge or reduce this design to fit your surface. I think she would look cute painted on many different surfaces.
Preparation: I rubbed a little Trad. Burnt Umber Paint on to the piece so that it could be a little darker. Then I just traced the design and now ... Time to start painting !
Supplies: Deco Art matte sealer finisher spray.
Trace your design on to your surface and now it is time to start painting !
Angel Bunny and little bunnies, face, ears, hands and feet: Base with Toffee. Lightly shade with Trad. Burnt Umber. Very lightly, Dry brush the cheek and ears a little with Gooseberry Pink. Line the stitching and dot the eyes and line the whiskers and line the nose with Black. Line the tiny heart mouth with Rookwood Red. Dot the dots on her head with White.
Angel Wings: Base with Toffee. Shade with Trad. Burnt Umber. Dry brush highlights on the wings with Khaki Tan. Dry brush little circles with White. Dot around the circles with Mauve and then dot the centers of the flowers with Marigold.
Bunny dress: Base with Mauve. Shade with Black Plum. Dry brush with Baby Pink. Float the stripes at the bottom of the dress with Russet. Dot the buttons with Black.
Bunny Pinafore: Base with Shale Green. Shade with Trad. Burnt Umber. Dry brush with White. Line with Black. Line the Sunshine stitching with Black Micron Pen. Float the scallop edges on the pinafore with White.
Bloomers: Base with Marigold. Dry brush with White. Line with Black. Shade with Trad. Burnt Umber.
Necklace: Line with White and base with White. Line with Black. Line the LOVE with Russet.
Basket: Base with Espresso. Dry brush the basket with Toffee mixed with Espresso. Shade with Trad. Burnt Umber. Base the inside of the basket with Trad. Burnt Umber. Line the lines with White. Base the book with Toffee. Shade the book with Trad. Burnt Umber. Line My Garden with Black. Dab the flowers with Marigold and with Gooseberry Pink. Dot the centers of the flowers with White and dot the dots around the flowers with White. Base the large flower with White. Float the petals with Marigold. Base the center of the flower with Royal Purple. Base the leaves on the flowers with Antique Green mixed with a little White. Line with Black.
Long flower pot: Base with Terra Cotta. Shade with Russet. Dry brush with Burnt Orange and then with a little Marigold. Float the ribbon on the pot with White. Line the stems of the herbs with Antique Green mixed with White. Dab the Dill with Marigold and paint the lavender petals with Royal Purple mixed with White. Base the leaves with Antique Green mixed with White. Dot the dots all around the flowers with White.
Old barn ladder: Line with Trad. Burnt Umber. Line over that with White. Base the bird with
