in Rockford, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his

brother, John St John.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette St John to

whom he was married 58 years.

Jim was the devoted father of two daughters, Judy

Burrows and her husband Jim Burrows of Beijing China,

Joyce Gildemeister and her husband Bernhard
Gildemeister of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren Bethany

Hammond and her husband Job Hammond, Rebekah

Burrows, and Jason Burrows, Christoph Gildemeister,

Stefan Gildemeister, Katrina Gildemeister, Johannes

Gildemeister and Matthias Gildemeister; and one niece
Christine St John Cole.

Jim was a WWII veteran. He served his country 3 years

and was honorably discharged in April 1945. This recent

October 2012, he was grateful to be chosen to go to the

WWII memorial in Washington, DC to be honored
publically with other vets. He was humbly touched by that

visit.
