I fondly remember the days you use to come and collect me from the
boarding school at Vembadi and drive me home for the weekends in Chava.
Those and many more memorable days spent with you will stay with me
forever. Thank you and Goodbye Chinnamama.

Memories of you will never die, nor will they fade as time goes by. We will miss your surprise visits bringing our relatives home every now and then when they travel to Jaffna. You will always be in our thoughts.

Our earliest memories of Ganesh Mama go back to our childhood in Jaffna. Many years later, our interaction with him became more vibrant when we were both in England.
An eloquent speaker, Mama was usually the one who gave speeches at our special family occasions.
We are fortunate to have many wonderful memories of our Mama, and are truly grateful for what he has done for us.
I particularly remember the times he would patiently pack my suitcase just like he used to with Amma!
I enjoyed our long conversations — sometimes trivial and other times serious. He can be a friend one minute and a trusted advisor the next, and he did that with genuine concern and affection.
I will miss him very much.
