SERVING AS ONE 2019-2020
“The Prayer Shawl ministry started in January 2007. I first heard about it at a Parish Nurse meeting. I thought this would be great for our church to get involved in, so I went to UMW with the idea.
The morning group still meets once a month. An evening group was formed a few years ago; and I believe we now have around 20 people who make shawls. We have made and presented over 1,000 shawls since the beginning. Many people have been helped through the prayers in the shawls. It is a wonderful ministry.” – Barb Williamson
