Causes of Land Pollution
Farming
Although farming provides us with food such as wheat,
rice, fruits and vegetables but it is also a major factor
of land pollution. Farming needs land to grow crops.
Usually to acquire more land, forests are destroyed.
Also, pesticides and chemical fertilizers are used to
grow crops. The cut down of forests and use of
chemicals harm the surface of the earth.
