samühäh—multitudes; mahä-mahah—splendid; néla-mani—of sapphires;
indra-ja—of the best; attaù—palaces; mahä—with great; pratéhära—
of gates; varaù—the best; api—also; yasyäù—of which; tat—of that;
kauravindaù—made of rubies; vilasati—shines; alam—greatly; sä—that
capitol.
Nanda Mahäräja's palace is made of glistening sapphires, with lapus
lazuli roofs and large gates made of rubies.

bhaëòära-gehaà varuëasya diçyäm
çré-kåñëa-väsaù çubha-dakñiëa-sthaù
çré-räma-dhämottara-diçy udeti
mukhya—primary; prakoñöhe—in the courtyard; catuù—four; älaye—
in residences; asya—of that palace; bhaëdära—geham—the treasury;
varuëasya—of Varuna; diçyäm—in the direction; çré-kåñëa—of Çré Kåñëa;
väsaù—the residence; çubha—auspicious; dakñiëa—in the south; sthaù—
situated; çré räma—of Lord Balarama; dhäma—the residence; uttara—in
the northern; diçi—direction; udeti—is manifest.
In the center of Nanda Mahäräja's palace is a courtyard. The royal
treasury is in the western part, Lord Balaräma's residence in the
northern part, and Lord Kåñëa's residence in the southern part of
the palace.
