In regard to the life of a female
Muslim student here, it is a bit
difficult as there may be some
hardships along the way such as
the view of the West in general
towards hijab.
Responsibility of Parents
towards Their Children in
the Diaspora
"We have many responsibilities
for our children in Western
countries, despite the availability
of all services," said Mohammed
Hassan, who lives in Germany
and teaches two of his children
at Hamburg University.
However, the fear and anxiety
of parents about their children
remains great and presents a
serious challenge to parents, as
they try to fit into the society.
Hassan added, “Parents are also
responsible for educating their
children to abide by the Islamic
rules while residing in the West,
as well as following up with their
mandatory daily prayers and
learning their mother tongues.
