Greetings,

It is indeed my pleasure and distinct honor to greet each of you as Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. convenes
th
the 40 Syn-Lod National Convention in historic St. Louis, Missouri, June 23-29, 2017 at the St. Louis Union
Station Hotel. Six hundred Ladies, Lords, and Teens will come to your fair city to paint the town pink, silver,
and gold with enthusiasm, energy and excitement as we “Invest in V.A.L.U.E.S. that Support, Enhance, and
Sustain” the communities we serve.

At this conference, we will celebrate the accomplishments of the last two years and set goals for future
progress. Volunteerism, advocacy, leadership, unity, engagement and social responsibility will be high on the
agenda. Please plan to take advantage of all that the conference has to offer to ensure that TLOD can and
will take the lead in meeting the many challenges facing our communities.

The South Cluster Chapters: Cardinal, Confluence, East St. Louis and St. Louis, have worked diligently to
provide conference attendees with a diverse array of experiences that will reflect the “flavor” of St. Louis. A
heartfelt “thank you” is extended to Ladies Sylvia Yandle, Conference Chair, and the Co-Chairs, Ladies
Dorothy Fisher, Lena Rush and Dolores Green, for all the time, energy and love that has been put into making
this a conference to remember. Kudos also to Lady Mary Leach Davis, National Area III Director, for her
assistance and support in this endeavor.

I am excited and looking forward to meeting you in St. Louis.
