To learn how to do DOGA all you have to do is to sit on your Yoga mat and let your dog come to you. It is important for you to take some Yoga classes of your own first so that you know something about the basic moves before you start adding your dog. You can learn DOGA by watching my video or reading books on Yoga or just experimenting. There are no perfect Yoga poses just as there are no perfect DOGA poses. It's about what feels good for you and your dog. There's so much that a dog teaches us that we need to remember about being happy, peaceful and content about living in the moment. Dogs bring us more knowledge on the Yoga mat than any teacher out there possibly could. They live in the present moment. They are already happy and joyful loving beings. That's all we wish to be. It is our function and purpose in life to be joyful. So if we find that PTSD has been triggered in us and a bad moment is happening we must reach for Joy...and our dogs are pure joy. Add that to the practice of DOGA, meditation and breathing and then hopefully we can all be well.
Just give yourself 5-minutes and the next day 10-minutes and then the next day 15-minutes and then the next day 20-minutes and then move on from there. You can always reset and go back to 5-minutes every day then build back up from there whenever you feel the need. Use the power of
