“It is my strong suspicion that even one such experience might be able to prevent suicide, for instance, and perhaps many varieties of slow self-destruction, e.g., alcoholism, drug addiction, addiction to violence, etc. I would guess also, on
theoretical grounds, that peak-experiences might very well abort “existential meaninglessness,” states of valuelessness, etc.,”

Again, to understand Esotherapy, it is important to debunk our deep-seated, socially accepted “common sense” understanding that consciousness is something “we have”. Consider the words of world-renowned Neuroscience researcher Dr. Candace Pert:
“Your body is your subconscious mind.”
She reaffirms that consciousness is us. It is “who we are”. Integrating consciousness integrates us. It fundamentally changes the way we see past and present events as well as the world; this alters the chemical imbalances of our brains and bodies, thereby healing mental and physical illnesses alike.
Esotherapy is a consciousness integration therapy that processes trauma and other emotional-imprinting events through an amalgam of phenomenological inquiry, esoteric healing talk and touch, meditation and spiritual ceremony, as well as contemporary psychological knowledge that switches perception from a divided, ego-centered perception to an integrated, spirit-centered state of consciousness.
Esotherapy is an amalgam of timeless, wisdom-centered medicine, such as the one that Christ and Lao Tzu voiced, integrated with modern understandings of illnesses. However, as opposed to other past attempts of integration, in Esotherapy, it is the non-dualistic, Higher Consciousness wisdom that drives the use of modern understandings, not vice-versa.
