7. How Does The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Best Practice Compare To Esotherapy?
Mindfulness meditation is a microcosm of the esoteric spiritual disciplines it belongs in. To strip it of the esoteric context, in order the fit it into a secular therapy milieu, is to strip it of its spirit, as well as its power. Without its spiritual connection even the “best practice” of MBSR offers little more than banal, meaningless experiences that are but a shadow of true life.
