Nate Gonzalez: I was hurt back in 2001. I had just finished a tour overseas and was getting sent to 29 Palms for Staff NCO school, and also had my officer package put in, so I was waiting for that. I had just reenlisted, had a good signing bonus, got a promotion to Sergeant, I was doing great. I came home on leave and brought my motorcycle with me. A drunk driver ran a stop sign and hit me on my bike less than a mile away from my house. That pretty much ended all of those things on my career path. Luckily the military took care of me
