Founded in 1986, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit research and educational organization that develops medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the careful uses of psychedelics and marijuana. Since its founding, MAPS has raised over $70 million for psychedelic therapy and medical marijuana research and education. For more information, visit maps.org.
MAPS was founded to bring life-enhancing psychedelics through the regulatory system and legitimize their use as prescription medicine and, because of our due diligence, MDMA is now in phase III of medical trials in the U.S. and is on track to be rescheduled in 2021 for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
