everything I needed to know. I started working there part-time and was learning while also becoming a better rider. I was having fun pushing myself on the trail and meeting new people who just enjoyed riding their bikes. I quickly found the mountain bike community very much like my military community and I loved it. I was starting to feel good about myself and this what I needed. I was feeling better at home, didn’t drink as much and felt very lucky every day and why not...I had a wonderful wife (Tamara), a great son (Colin), and new friends who liked riding.
