in the great outdoors and confidently continue their new found passion in life. My message, one articulated in a Facebook announcement of my nonprofit's ultimate goal, is to reduce the overwhelming amount of suicides that is currently plaguing our military men and women. We need to change the stigma surrounding Veterans returning from war. We need to turn tragedy into triumph.
POSSIBILITY
We want to expand the perspective of Veterans to make them aware of life's possibilities.
EDUCATION
We hope to educate Veterans on how to overcome PTSD and/or depression through engagement in outdoor sports of their choosing.
SUCCESS
Establish a strong network with both outdoor recreation industry and Veterans of the U.S. Military.
