“Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end.” – Robin Sharma
Courtenay: I had a habit of being very protective of my staff, of anyone working for me, and usually unbeknownst to them, I would directly confront anyone challenging my authority, professionally of course. I had such a reputation of with my fellow Department Heads an Chief Staff Officer that I earned the name ‘Bulldog’.
My work in Afghanistan, and caring for my ‘people’ was, in a way, a method to avoid the environment and the stressors I had to live and survive in.
This avoidance builds on itself and can cause stress in the body through headaches, pain and sleeplessness.
The Trager Approach helps to relieve these types of symptoms.
