There are an estimated one in three military combat personnel who experience Post- Traumatic Stress (PTS) or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This equals over 300,000 Veterans who served in the Middle East, and 1.7 million Veterans from the Vietnam era. While some of these individuals will be able to manage their symptoms and recover a sense of normalcy, there are still a large number of individuals who end up experiencing PTSD.
The symptoms of PTSD include hyper-arousal, numbing, avoidance, flashbacks, and vigilance. While not everyone will have the same physical symptoms or issues that accompanies PTSD, other related issues include depression, anxiety, panic disorders,
