lossman Gas in Prattville, Alabama, welcomed
Congressman Gary Palmer for a facility visit on
April 7, 2026. The visit provided the opportunity
Bto highlight the vital role propane plays in com-
munities across Alabama’s Sixth Congressional District.

Branch Manager, Matthew Fain, Isaac Wei-
die, APGA Executive Director Laural Strength, and the
Blossman Gas team explained to Congressman Palmer
how propane powers homes, farms, and businesses
and provides reliable, clean energy that supports the
local economy. Rep. Palmer was shown features of the
Prattville facility. At the same time, other members
of the Blossman Gas team discussed how propane is
transported from production facilities to customers via Blossman Gas Prattville branch employees, Isaac Weidie, Congressman Gary Palmer,
and APGA Executive Director Laural Strength pose for a photo to commemorate this

As a member of the House Committee on En-
ergy & Commerce, Congressman Palmer listened as Mr.
Fain explained the benefits of the Energy Choice Act.
This important bill protects customers’ rights to access
the energy products of their own choosing, regardless
of where they live. Mr. Fain also used the visit to high-
light key industry priorities and asked the Congressman
to support the Low Income Home Energy Assistance
Program (LIHEAP), which helps income-eligible families
            afford their energy bills.

Visits like this are a great way to connect with
lawmakers and share the value propane brings to our
communities. If your company would like to host a tour,
APGA and NPGA can help. Reach out to Laural Strength,
