2025 ALTRANS Conference
he Alabama Transit Authority (ALTRANS) held its
Annual Spring Conference on April 29th -May 1st
at the Gulf State Park Lodge in Gulf Shores, Ala-
Tbama. Transit authorities from across the state
gather at this annual event to network and learn about
new technologies and products for their fleets.
For the past three years, APGA has proudly spon-
sored this event. APGA Executive Director, Laural Bunn
Strength and APGA member and NPGA State Director
Mark Denton (Blossman Gas/Alliance Autogas) were on-
hand to ensure attendees had the resources necessary
to learn more about propane autogas, its benefits, the
transition process, and available funding opportunities.
On Wednesday, Denton spoke to conference
attendees on the benefits of utlizing propane autogas for
transit fleets emphasizing: 1) that propane autogas is a
clean, abundant, affordable, domestic fuel, 2) the safety
aspects of autogas for fleets, and 3) the ease and cost
effectiveness of fueling with propane autogas. Special
thanks to Mark Denton for representing the industry and
continuing to share the benefits of auotgas at events
such as this.■
