NPGA Responds to President’s Executive Order on
State Energy Overreach
In April, the White House issued a new Exec-
utive Order, “Protecting American Energy from State
Overreach.” The Executive Order instructs the U.S.
Attorney General to identify state and local laws, reg-
ulations, and policies that burden the production and
use of domestic energy resources, such as propane,
