Introduction:

This is book dedicated to families thinking about their son
or daughter living in their own apartment or house.

Sometimes parents worry about their children and don’t

know how much they can do on their own. This is the story
of Annie as she teaches her family (and herself) what she

can do on her own with their help and trust.

This book should be read by self-advocates to help mothers

and fathers talk about any fears they have of you living on
your own. It can be scary, but we can all learn from how

Annie and her family made her dreams come true.
