         Chairman’s Welcome

Welcome to the latest edition of ‘Bat & Ball’, the newsletter of the Royal Household Cricket Club. As you will read, 2016
was a record-breaking season on the pitch and hugely enjoyable year off it. The new 2017 season will be quieter with no
festival or tour planned, however, our fixture list is still packed full of quality opposition as we welcome back old friends
and host a range of new teams for the first time. I look forward to welcoming you to the Club over the coming months.
                                                                                                     Bob Gilbert
