John “Zeke” Czekanski | Managing Partner & CEO
Leading Citrus Scientific and overseeing US & European markets, Zeke applies strategic thinking,
innovative approaches, therapeutic knowledge and scientific expertise to consistently deliver positive outcomes for clients. He uses his leadership principles, high levels of motivation, and a caring management style to excite and inspire his employees to also achieve excellence.
Zeke brings a wealth of experience in the Life-sciences and Scientific Communications industries including roles at
Merck & Co, Inc., Cardinal Health, JK Associates, Inc. (JK), and the Fishawack Group of Companies (FW). A deep understanding of the client & service sides of business led Zeke to co-found JK, a full-service Scientific Communications & Digital agency. Over a ten year period the company grew to $10+ MM fee revenue, 50+ employees, and expanded services adding 1010 Digital, Arbor Communications, & EndPoint Communications. JK ranked 1st in client satisfaction by consistently delivering high-level scientific content resulting in long-term, successful supplier relationships. This level of partnership resulted in the sale of JK to FW in 2013 where Zeke served as President, FW-US & Global Head of Commercial for 5 years.
Recently Zeke has focused his skills & experience with clients to develop Scientific Platforms & Medical Communication Strategies resulting in successful commercialization of pipeline products in the rare diseases, neuroscience, oncology, immunology, and global vaccines (pediatric, adolescent, and adult) areas. Zeke served as a visiting faculty member for Lehigh University’s Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation and received his B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
